The Porsche 908/03 number 20, entered by J.W. Automotive Engineering Ltd., was driven by Jo Siffert and Brian Redman during the 1970 1000 km of Nürburgring. This car was specifically designed for twisty circuits like the Nürburgring and the Targa Florio, thanks to its exceptional lightness and maneuverability. Unfortunately, car number 20 was forced to retire due to a mechanical issue during the race. Despite this retirement, the Porsche 908/03s demonstrated their competitiveness, with another car from the team winning the race that year.
The goal of NSR is to create a classic car using modern technologies, for a high-tech model "ready to race." It had to be high-performance right out of the box.
The Porsche 908/3 is an innovative model, equipped with high-tech components, offering excellent on-track performance while maintaining scale modeling accuracy. It is available in a sidewinder configuration.
The engine is a Shark 21.5 EVO, delivering 21,900 RPM at 12 volts with a torque of 164 gr/cm.
New racing bearings for the EVO motor mount.
The special aluminum wheels with AIR SYSTEM technology, combined with soft rubber tires, provide exceptional grip on all types of track surfaces. 3/32” 60 HRC steel axles.
The Porsche 908/3 was designed following the Mosler GT project, which has dominated the GT category since its launch in 2006, in both national and international competitions.
Staying true to the NSR philosophy, we have worked without compromise to achieve the best performance. The NSR "Classic" models are, without a doubt, the fastest in the world.
NSR organizes endurance races in all countries where its models are distributed. These events bring together professional drivers as well as enthusiastic amateurs, allowing everyone to appreciate the quality and performance of NSR cars.
All NSR cars are exclusively manufactured and tested in the NSR factory.
