The Porsche 917K, chassis 025, initially acquired by Jaime Ortiz-Patino and driven by Dominique Martin, was sold to the Fittipaldi team in 1972. Repainted in yellow and sponsored by MotoRadio, it was entrusted to Wilson Fittipaldi for the Copa Brasil at Interlagos in December 1972. During this competition, Fittipaldi secured two second places on December 9 and 10, before clinching victory on December 17.
