LW = Long Shaft = 13.5 mm long motor shaft (measured from the motor housing, not from the 1.3 mm protruding motor bearing!!). 13.5 mm must be shortened by 2 mm for Carrera vehicles and the Slotdevil micro chassis.

The small minimotors live in slotcars at the edge of the thermal stress limit. As a result, the life span of the small motors is usually significantly shorter than with the usual 13D motors. In the case of intensive driving operations, it may happen that a new engine is due per year. In the Slotdevil 6025 special (expensive) components are installed, which significantly reduce the thermal load and give the motors an identical life to 13D motors. We have tried to give this engine a long life, especially with regard to our micro metal chassis, for which the engine is actually designed.
