Our latest release is the Mercedes-Benz W180 II 220S, part of the celebrated “Ponton” series made by the german company. The unit we have chosen was driven by Ronnie Adams and Jim Heather-Hayes in the 6th edition of the East African Coronation Rally in 1958. For the first time ever, Slot Classic is making a “Safari Rally” version.
Cream bodywork. Sport “Safari Rally” configuration with elevated auxiliary headlights, mudflaps, racing wheels.urs of Le Mans at a time when only 3 models existed. Driven by Tom Wisdom and Tommy Wise, they achieved a surprising class victory.
