Description
High quality lacquer based paint with a chemical formula superior to other brands in the market.
Flows smoothly in an airbrush; adheres to the surface and dries perfectly with a soft finish. Holds firmly all kind of weathering products.
May be diluted with RC701/RC702 High Compatibility Thinner or other thinners intended for lacquer based paints.
Overall color of USMC helicopters from 1977 until 1985.
One of the colors used in the wraparound scheme applied to the USMC helicopters from 1985 until 1993.
A good match to RAL 6003 (modern RAL 840 HR), one of the camouflage colors used in the German Luftwaffe’s Norm 83 wraparound scheme (Tornado, F-104G, RF-4E, Alpha Jet etc.) and Heeresfliegertruppe’s (German Army Aviation Corps) Norm 84 scheme (UH-1D, CH-53G) employed in the 1980s-1990s.
