PRS 32690 Magnetic Bench

PRS’s Magnetic Bench is a device used to measure the magnetic field of electric motors, displaying both the value and the North/South polarity.

It can be powered by any USB power source (mobile charger, power bank, PC) requiring 2.1A. If the power source is insufficient, the device may not function properly.

The display shows the real-time value with polarity, along with the maximum recorded value since the device was turned on or since the "Clear Data" button was pressed.

To begin, press the "Tare" button for a few seconds to zero the device.

To reset the maximum value, press and hold the "Clear Data" button.

The colored lines on the bench are reference points for placing the rear wheels.

When checking the magnetic field, note the following:

• Open-case motors show higher values than closed-can ones.
• The lower the car’s ground clearance, the higher the reading.
• With the same wheel diameter and motor, a car with 0 offset will have a lower reading than one with a 1.0 offset motor mount.
