Carrera DIGITAL 132 30768 Mercedes-AMG GT3 "No.2", 24h of Dubai

The excellent on-track performance of the serial GT provided the perfect basis for the Mercedes AMG GT3. Both the race circuit and road version benefitted from the muscle of the 6.3-litre, V8 engine that only needed optimising for racing purposes. Low running costs, long service intervals and great reliability distinguish this high-rpm motor. The induction engines are built according to the principle of 'one man - one engine', as each is hand-built by one of the employees at the AMG factory. Such great care is rewarded with success! Since much of 2015 has been used to develop and intensify testing, the signs look great for victories in 2016.
