Lola presentó la gama T600 en las carreras a principios de los 80, equipados con motores Cosworth, Mazda y Chevrolet.
El T600 fue uno de los primeros coches utilizados en carreras de resistencia, cuya estructura estaba fabricada con compuestos de fibra de carbono.
Emilio de Villota Ruiz, piloto Madrileño nacido en 1946, participó junto con Guy Edwards y Juan Fernández en las 24 Horas de Le Mans acabando en 15ª posición, en el año 1981.
