The Renault Sport R.S. 01 is a car designed especially for racing. The French manufacturer used his extensive experience in the competition to develop a race car inspired by production models, but specifically for circuit. The objective? To offer racing fans and professionals a unique vehicle that would feature a unique racing series with higher performance levels. The Renault Sport Trophy, name of this competition which is part of the Renault World Series, is inspired by the best in the house. First, a central Nismo V6 3.8L engine, developed by Nissan, which offers more than 500 hp. Then, carbon brakes and chassis, that contributed to reducing the total weight of the vehicle to only 1,100 kg. Finally, sequential 7-speed gearbox and a job in earnest in the wind tunnel. The result is a small bomb, agile, light and with vertigo acceleration, worthy of Formula competitions. With a maximum speed of 300 km/h, the Sport R.S. is one of the most fun cars to drive, both on the real circuit and on your Scalextric 1:32 scale Scalextric car for original or analog system.
