Description
Faithful replica of a Ford Capri RS2600 in racing version. Ford produced the first generation of the Capri between 1968 and 1973, with approximately 784,000 units built. The powerful RS2600 version served as the basis for its competition entry, particularly in touring car racing from 1970 onward.
The reproduced model corresponds to the car entered by the GRAB MOTORSPORT team in the 1971 Spa-Francorchamps 24 Hours in Belgium. The two drivers, Harald Menzel and Bernd Blank, unfortunately had to retire from the race due to a loss of oil pressure.
