Expertise and quality of model making at the service of a passion
Description
Respect where respect is due!
The Porsche 917K was one of the most successful motor racing cars of the 1970s. In 1997 it was chosen as the 'racing car of the century'. At the time, the 917 was a very risky experiment for Porsche, since the developmental costs were immense and there were no guarantees that private buyers or racing teams would be interested in purchasing it. The development had the backing of Ferdinand Piëch, who later stated that the model had been "the riskiest car in my whole life".
