Description
A speedster from the 60s
Another eye-catcher is the Lola T70 MKIIIb "No.99" with its V8 engine in the Carrera racing team. The Lola T70 was developed in England and the USA in 1965 by the British racing car manufacturer Lola Cars. In total, only 88 of them were produced, which makes the racing car an absolute rarity. He is known from historical racing events and, of course, from books and films. Whether a road approval would still be possible today, can only be speculated about, but the officials would certainly be speechless with the 95 cm high sports car. Now you too can drive the classic red Lola T70 MKIIIb "No.99" over the local race track.
Unun classic car enjoyment
Screaming colors are "out" - roaring colors are "in" - the vehicle Lola T70 MKIIIb says "No.99". The first variant was the Lola T70 Spyder. In 1966, the Lola T70 Mk II Spyder appeared, which was replaced in 1967 by the model Lola Mk III Spyder. John Surtees became world champion in the CanAm series on Lola in 1966, but the following year only one race could be won against the McLaren M6A-Chevrolet. The first closed variant was the Lola Mk III Coupé, which appeared in 1967. It was replaced by the Mk IIIB Coupé, which appeared in 1969 and was only built until 1970. The slot car is equipped with front, rear and brake lights and is recommended from the age of 10 years. In addition, it is digitally controllable and individually codeable. So step on the gas and set the fastest lap on the long circuit!
