Description
In 1976, for LeMans 24 Hours, the first Renault-Alpine A442 is engaged. It takes the pole position and Jabouille even beats repeatedly the lap record but ends the race during the 11th hour. In 1977, Renault-Alpine comes back with high victory hopes. Four A442 are entered. None is at the arrival.
