This NSR Formula 86/89 pays tribute to the plucky Toleman team of the turbo era, dressed in crisp white-and-blue Candy colours with Segafredo, Magirus and Agip emblazoned along the bodywork. It recalls the rain-soaked 1984 Monaco weekend, when the modest Toleman outfit stunned the paddock and the sister car, number 19, surged to a legendary second place. At the wheel of the number 20 sat Johnny Cecotto, already a double motorcycle world champion and many-time Grand Prix winner, bringing his fearless two-wheeled reputation into Formula 1. Formula NSR 86/89 takes origin from the formula 1 of the late 80s, and is a generic model based on the cars of that era, without reproducing exactly any particular model.

NSR's goal is to make a Formula car using modern technology, so high tech "Ready To Race." It had to be competitive right from the start.
The Formula 86/89 is an innovative model with high tech components, highly performing on the track while still respecting the scale modeling aspect.

Formula 86/89 is available in INLINE configuration, with KING 21 EVO/3 engine. The gear is 10-27.
There is a new motor mount, which can work on 5 mounting points, as described by the drivers.
NSR recommends using only the original configuration, which is the best in many situations (front mounting point + the two sides. Do not use the two rear ones).

The height of the front axle can be adjusted using the NSR screws.

Special aluminum rear rims with AIR SYSTEM technology, together with soft compound tires, give outstanding grip on all types of tracks.
3/32" 60 HRC steel studs Aluminum rims with Air System technology.
The front wheels are made of extralight aluminum with no friction tires for good performance.
