Slot.it CA05e Nissan R390 GT1 Test Car Estoril 1997
Reference : CA05e
Description
Driver : Martin Brundle
The Nissan R390 GT1 was a racing car built to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1997 and 1998. It was developed by Nismo and the Tom Walkinshaw Racing team.
The car featured a carbon monocoque chassis, and a twin turbo V8 3496cc engine.
This particular Nissan R390 GT1 model, whose lower sides still bear a closer resemblance to the road car than the ones later seen in Le Mans, is an early development which was tested in Estoril in 1997, driven by Martin Brundle in preparation of the French 24 hours race.
