Description
Painted figure
Hand painted figurine made of resin in scale 1:32 of Jochen Rindt. He is seated on a camping seat like on a famous photograph where we see him talking with Colin Chapman, manager of the Lotus team.
Jochen Rindt was born in Germany in 1972. Between 1963 and 1965, he tried many disciplines of motor racing. In 1965, for his second participation, he won LeMans 24 Hours with a Ferrari 250LM. He began his F1 career in 1966 with Maserati and then with Lotus in 1969 to succeed Jim Clark who killed himself. The 1970 season promises to be under the best auspices: In the first 10 races he competed in, he took pole position 3 times and won 5 victories. When he kills himself during the tests of the Italian GP, his lead is considerable and he is crowned posthumous World Champion.
